We were missing runners, but David Seaver made a great leap from last week and Gavin Geiger also ran well. Looking at the results, we did fairly well and I think we definitely have the opportunity and time to improve before the league meet.”
“The 10,000 feet elevation, combined with long uphills, steep downhills on a hot day made the this race very challenging.”
“We had an amazing day in Leadviille,” Lake County Athletic Director Mike Vagher said. “Special thanks Colorado Mountain College, Leadville Campus for letting us host the meet. We were able to pull it off a great meet within the CHSAA/COVID guidelines. Everyone seemed to have a great time and it was awesome to see all the athletes out competing and putting forth a great effort.”
The teams next meet will be in Granby for the Middle Park Invite.
