Meaghan Marie McBee

Meaghan Marie McBee passed away Jan. 22, 2021, in Fairplay, Colo. She was born to Donald Louis McBee and Barbara Anne Whooley-McBee.
Meaghan was happiest at home on the ranch spending time with her family and animals. She spent hours with her dad and brothers shooting targets, skeet and sometimes just cans.
She also enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, Jeremy. They spent weeks camping, hiking and ice fishing all over Park County and the state.
Meaghan loved all things furry. She took her first horseback ride at four years old and was hooked. She was passionate about horses and rode as often as possible. Hours on horseback weresalve for her soul.
Meaghan picked her very own Colorado grandparents, Maggie and Jim Dunlap. She enjoyed spending time with them at Hay Creek Ranch, training horses, cutting and bailing hay, and chasing healers.
Meaghan was preceded in death by Spencer McBee, her brother; Donald McBee, Sr., her Grandfather; Claire (Winters) McBee, her Grandmother; Barbara (Shea) Wharton, her Grandmother; and Joseph Whooley, her Grandfather.
She is survived by Donald McBee, her Father; Barbara McBee, her Mother; Kimberly Davidson, her Sister; and Matthew McBee, her Brother.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fairplay.
Private cremation was held.
