Week of Oct. 5-11, 2020
The Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to 11 Accident/Motor Vehicle calls, 25 Animal Control calls, two ATV/Dirtbikes on County Road calls, seven Illegal Campfire calls, 10 Motor Assist calls, 10 REDDI Report/Reckless Driver calls, 10 Shots Fired calls, 53 traffic stops, two welfare check and 407 Misc Other calls. The total calls amounted to 537 with the following arrests:
Todd Michael Berry from Fairplay was arrested Oct. 7 on charges of habitual traffic offender-public nuisance. He was sentenced to serve 31 days. He is in custody.
Ruben Phillip Bettale from Denver was arrested Oct. 6 on charges of driving under the influence per se, with three+ priors. He is in custody and his scheduled release date is Jan. 21, 2021.
Travis Leo Dyer from Colorado Springs was arrested Oct. 8 on charges of third degree assault-know/reckless cause injury; reckless endangerment; criminal mischief-under $300; domestic violence enhancer. He is also being held on a warrant out of Park County for fugitive of justice. He is still in custody.
Leaton McClelland from Lake George was arrested Oct. 11 on charges of driving under influence per se, with one-plus prior alcohol; driving under the influence-with one-plus prior alcohol; headlamps-failure to dim. He was released on a $1,000 cash/surety bond Oct. 11.
Stephanie Person from Hartsel was arrested Oct. 10 on charges of second degree assault; third degree assault-know/reckless cause injury; domestic violence enhancer. She is still in custody.
