The Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to 10 Accident/Motor Vehicle calls, 26 Animal Control calls, two ATV/Dirtbikes on County Road calls, 16 Illegal Campfire calls, nine Motor Assist calls, 21 REDDI Report/Reckless Driver calls, nine Shots Fired calls, 38 traffic stops and four welfare check and 431 miscellaneous calls. The total calls amounted to 566 with the following arrests:
James Lee Berry from Hartsel was arrested Sept. 22 on charges of domestic violence enhancer; criminal mischief-under $300; Assault in the second degree (dv). He was released on a $1,000 PR bond Sept. 23.
Kevyn Long from Lakewood was arrested Sept. 27 on charges of protection order violation-civil-second/subsequent offense; criminal impersonation-gain benefit and he is also being held in custodial care for Jefferson County. He is still in custody.
Kenneth Frederick Wattier from Lake George was arrested Sept. 22 on charges of second degree burglary of dwelling; menacing-real/simulated weapon; weapon-prohibited use-drunk with a gun; tampering second degree-intent injury/inconvenience/annoy. He is still in custody.
