Ready for summer

This young Park County moose, as well as its twin sibbling, were bedded down beneath the willows during portions of last weeks series of snowstorms. The twins are generally accompanied by their mom, but she was nowhere to be seen on the morning of April 18. According to DJ Hannigan, the twins are still a tad too young to be on their own, so hopefully mom was not far away and returned to her parenting duties sometime after this photograph was taken.
