Our next book club meeting is on April 18 at 11 a.m.  Join us for a discussion on “Doc Susie: The True Story of a Country Physician in the Colorado Rockies,” by Virginia Cornell. In 1907 Doc Susie went to Fraser, Colo. with a bad case of tuberculosis and a broken heart. Soon she forgot about her own troubles and lived a life so colorful that Hollywood wanted to make a movie of it. The book is available for loan through Prospector Library Service, or used on Amazon for $5-6 with shipping. We also currently have two copies in our new Lending Library.
