LETTER: Thanks for support for Isaac Conrad
Posted: February 04, 2016

Never does a parent think cancer will call the name of their child, but sadly this is a daily occurrence. It knocks the wind out of you and dims your sights on the future. In the beginning of 2015 doctors solemnly confirmed cancer was rapidly consuming our funny, bright 16-year-old son Isaac, and, while they would use every medical weapon available to them, they were unsure of the outcome due to the immense size and scary location of the tumor. When asked the likelihood of treatment being successful, the doctor looked at Isaac and responded, “either you’ll beat it or you won’t.”

LETTER: Thank you
Posted: January 15, 2016

We would like to thank all of the volunteers, too numerous to name individually (we had over 20) that helped out at the Annual Community Christmas Dinner. We had at least 110 guests join us for dinner. What a wonderful day spent with friends celebrating the joy of being a community. Many thanks to all who brought their favorite dish to share; your generosity helped make the day all the more special! The gifts at the Community Christmas Dinner where donated by the 2015 Holiday Gift Drive organized by the Park County Sheriff’s Office Victim Services and the South Park High School Cheerleading Squad. Also a special thank you to the South Park High School National Honor Society for the donated coats.
