A big thank-you to all of the snowplow drivers who have been working tirelessly to clear the roads in Valley of the Sun.

With between three to four feet of snow in our neighborhood, they have been working non-stop the last two weeks.

Thank you to all of the private plowing companies going out of your way to assist stranded neighbors while the county was trying to keep up with the huge amount of snow.

Hats off to the Park County Road and Bridges Department, who graciously took calls for roads to be cleaned.

Thank you to the county snowplow drivers who have been working diligently to clear the roads. My personal hero is Chris, the gentleman who plows my neighborhood. As I write this letter on Thursday at 8 p.m., he has just made two passes on the street in front of my house.

I can still hear his plow moving through our subdivision, plowing the streets and it is well after dark.

Thank you to all of the different snowplow drivers for keeping Valley of the Sun safe. The long days you have endured and your amazing work ethic are an inspiration.
