Wayne LaDouceur, 62, of Evergreen, passed away after a long battle with cancer, Sunday, March 3, 2019. Wayne, a former resident of Como, fell in love with the breathtaking beauty that is South Park, and became a resident for a time; he cherished the friendships that came out of his years in “the house with the big barn.” You’d easily find him fishing Spinney and 11 Mile and thanking God for His creation.
A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Bergen Park Church, 31919 Rocky Village Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439.
He is survived by his wife Sheri Beckford of Evergreen; daughters Natalie (Jake) Purdy and Jessica (Danny) Witte; step-children Jeremy (Nicole) Walters, Laurie Pokin, and William Pokin; grandchildren Lyla Witte, Kaidan, Elliott, and Taralynn Walters; mother Yolanda LaDouceur; and brother Paul (David Walders) LaDouceur. He was preceded in death by his father Paul LaDouceur and sister Patricia LaDouceur.
