Becky Minnis saves cuts elsewhere Re-2 superintendent ‘retires,’ but to return in August with full duties

Posted: Friday, July 20, 2012 2:26 pm

Park County Re-2 School District Superintendent Becky Minnis “retired” this month in order to save on some job reductions, but she will continue to handle her full duties as superintendent.

Minnis, who was selected as the new superintendent of the Fairplay-based school district in May 2010, “resigned” her full-time position in order to save South Park High School from having to cut the music and physical education teachers to half-time.
