Week of Jan. 6, 2020 – Jan. 12, 2020

The Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to seven Accident/Motor Vehicle calls, 19 animal control calls, 17 Motor Assist calls, nine REDDI Report/Reckless Driver calls, 126 traffic stops, seven welfare checks, and 310 Misc Other calls. The total calls amounted to 495 with the following arrests:

David Duane Daoust from Florissant was arrested on Jan. 7 on charges of driving under the influence. He is still in custody.

Brett Harold Ford from Pagosa Springs was arrested on Jan. 7 on charges of driving under the influence, restraining order violation-public conveyance, child abuse-negligence-no injury, no proof of insurance-failure to display, careless driving, driving under restraint, violation of bail bond conditions. He is also being held on a warrant out of La Plata County for failure to appear-violation of protection order. He is still in custody.

Peter Dorian Nowell from Hartsel was arrested on Jan. 7 on charges of driving under the influence-with three+ priors, driving under restraint-alcohol-related-second offense, failing to report accident-call police, and careless driving. He is also being held on a warrant out of Chaffee County, no specific charges listed. He is still in custody.

Miguel Nicolas Robledo-Alvarez from Hartsel was arrested on Jan. 8 on charges of criminal attempt, menacing-real/simulated weapon, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, following too closely, and unsafe or defective vehicle. He is still in custody.
