The Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to 23 motor vehicle calls, 28 animal control calls, 12 ATVs on county road calls, 65 illegal campfire calls, five code violations calls, 37 motorist assist calls, 15 reckless driver calls, 44 shots fired calls, 214 traffic stops, 11 welfare checks and 789 other calls. The total calls amounted to 1238.

Arrests

Gary Creel from Hartsel was arrested May 20 on a warrant from Park County on charges of failure to comply. He was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond May 21.

Christopher Wayne Day from Fountain was arrested May 31 on charges of child abuse and menacing. He is still in custody.

Ryan William Hegarty from Littleton was arrested May 29 on charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence per se and speeding 20-24 over limit. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond May 29.

Benjamin Alexander Holle from Denver was arrested May 25 on charges of protection order violation/criminal and a domestic violence enhancer. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond May 26.

David Austen Jay from Lakewood was arrested May 20 on a warrant from Park County on charges of failure to comply/trespassing in the first degree and also on charges of motor vehicle theft/aggravated in the second degree under $1,000.  He was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond May 20.

Christopher Jones from Fairplay was arrested May 22 on charges of third degree assault/know/recklessly causing injury and child abuse/negligently causing bodily injury. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond May 26.

Roger Jason Moore from Pine was arrested May 21 on charges of driving under the influence, menacing with real or simulated weapon and weapon/prohibited/used-drunk with a gun. He was released May 31 on time served.

Phillip Judson Morey from Florissant was arrested May 20 on charges of third degree assault and a domestic violence enhancer. He was released on a personal recognizance bond May 21.

Thomas Camp Myers from Como was arrested May 18 on charges of third degree assault/know/recklessly causing injury. He was sentenced to 30 days and is still in custody.
