The youth members of your local Park County 4-H clubs and Fair Royalty have some exciting events planned for this upcoming summer.

Come out and support the Park County Fair Royalty June 8, at Moore Lumber in Pine Junction, when they take part in their third annual Grill Your Ace Off competition.

All proceeds from this event go to supporting the Royalty Program that focuses on the development of the young ladies who represent Park County as they attend events around the state, promoting our beautiful county and our growing fair.

There will be bingo at the American Legion Hall in Fairplay, June 10, at 6 p.m. This will be our first bingo event, and we are looking forward to adding this fun event for community involvement and participation. In addition to the bingo games, there will also be 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

The Columbine Kids 4-H Club will be offering a tasty taco bar for $5. Soft and hard shells, ground beef, salsa, queso and chips and choice of beverage: soda, water or coffee. Buckskin Joes 4-H club will also have yummy baked goods for sale.

If you can’t make it to the bingo, no worries; there will be another exciting bingo night July 17, at the Park County Fair.

Bailey Day is coming up June 22. The Columbine Kids will be doing a petting zoo and offering showmanship demonstrations and clinics at selected times for rabbit and dairy goats. Hamburger Helpers 4-H Club will also be there volunteering at the kids’ activities, and the Park County Fair Royalty will be in the fair and 4-H booth to answer any questions about the fair and pre-register kids for Mutton Bustin’.

Come on down for this super-fun interesting event. Tons of vendors, food and kid-friendly activities.

The 99th annual Park County Fair runs July 17 through July 21. You won’t want to miss out on all the shows, rodeos, and free entertainment planned throughout the week. You can visit Parkcofair.com for more information and event schedule.

Come out and support your local 4-H youth at the livestock auction July 20 at 3 p.m. This is the biggest week of the year for all our children to showcase the hard work and efforts they’ve put in throughout the year.

Take a stroll through our exhibit hall to witness the talent that Park County has to offer with photography, cake decorating, shooting sports and many other activities. There will be something every day for everyone!

Burro Days will follow July 27 and 28, in Fairplay. Columbine Kids 4-H Club will also be offering a petting zoo with showmanship demonstrations and clinics for rabbits, dairy goats and lambs.

This is a two-day event with tons of vendors, food, music and fun kid-friendly activities. This is a great opportunity to get some information on your local 4-H clubs and the projects we can offer the youth of Park County.
