The Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 animal control calls, 499 citizen assist calls, four illegal campfire calls, seven motorist assist calls, 16 reckless driver calls, 104 traffic stops and eight welfare checks. The total calls amounted to 673.
James Dean Brown from Bailey was arrested Sept. 13 for assault in the second degree (domestic violence), criminal mischief of $750 to $1000, weapon-prohibited use-drunk with gun, carrying a concealed weapon-knife or gun, obstruction of a peace officer, harassment (struck, shoving or kicking) and domestic violence. He was released on a $5,000 cash surety bond Sept. 14.
Jenna Lyn Giles from Bailey was arrested Sept. 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (or both), driving under the influence per se - careless driving. She was released on a $1,000 cash surety bond Sept. 12.
Christian MichaelWayne Leslie from Durango was arrested Sept. 10 for driving under influence of alcohol or drugs (or both), driving under restraint, no insurance-driver and alcohol-open container or drink in vehicle. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond Sept. 11.
Ashley Renee Martin from Colorado Springs was arrested Sept. 10 for fourth degree arson-property over $100 endangered. Martin was released on a $500 cash bond Sept. 10.
Andrew James Murray from Buena Vista was arrested Sept. 14 for driving under restraint. Murray was released on a personal recognizance bond Sept. 14.
Thomas Camp Myers from Como was arrested Sept. 14 for menacing with a real or simulated weapon, third degree assault know/reckless cause injury and careless driving. He was released on a $2,000 cash surety bond Sept. 14.
Angelica Mae Tolsma from Colorado Springs was arrested Sept. 10 for arson of a public building/endangering life. She was released on a $500 cash surety bond Sept. 10.
