Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Urology Clinic is offering free prostate exams on Monday, June 17, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., in recognition of Men’s Health Month. Dr. Bradford Moss, a board-certified urologist, will provide the screenings at the HRRMC Outpatient Pavilion, 1000 Rush Drive, Salida.

No appointment is needed, and walk-ins are welcome. Register for the free tests on the first floor of the pavilion.

The free exams are being offered to raise awareness of prostate cancer, which affects about one in nine men. The American Cancer Society estimates that about 174,650 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed in 2019, and about 31,620 men will die from prostate cancer this year.

For more information about the free prostate screenings, call 719-530-2417.
